Martin Shaw Concert Series 1994 - 2015
For 21 years Martin Shaw hosted regular concerts at the Greenwood Centre, Grove Garden Chapel Richmond, and Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park. As well as featuring established guitarists he was very keen to encourage young gutarists starting out on their career.
St Mary's Church Twickenham Concert Series
Since 2015 Alex Brett has been organising concerts at the beautiful St Mary's Church Twickenham. Once a year he also organises Junior Concert event providing a stage for young guitarists.
Federation Day
Once a year around mid Summer the Greenwood Guitar Society participates in the Federation Day where guitar societies across the country get together. Everyone attending participates in a guitar orchestra where one or two pieces are learnt and performed at the end of the day. Each society also performs a mini concert.
